SUNDAY October 4th- PROUDLY PRESENTED BY REVERSE GARBAGE
Opening for Sculpture with Soul Exhibition FREE 1-5pm
Reverse Garbage- 142 Addison Road Marrickville
SCULPTURE WITH SOUL is a wonderful competition for artists to promote reuse and sustainability through sculpture.
The wellness of the mind is reflected in our environment, community and how we choose to live in harmony with others.
Reusing materials that are destined for the tip, not only saves the environment from landfill, but also creates a healthier attitude towards things that would otherwise be thrown away.
It is common for individuals suffering from a mental illness to feel alienated and judged by those who are ignorant to the illness and the effects it has on their lives.
Surely the lives of those who suffer from a mental illness must be cared for with the same level of awareness and respect.
Finalists from this competition will have their works exhibited during the Spirit of Soul Festival at Reverse Garbage in Marrickville.
The '1st Prize' money of $500 has also been kindly donated by Reverse garbage!

Come on down to the opening of SCULPTURE WITH SOUL to witness some innovative and inspiring pieces created from reusing materials!
